Private Lands Partners Day is Right Around the Corner

By Steve Jester, Partnerscapes

The annual Private Lands Partners Day coming to Alexandria, Minnesota September 22-24 will be the result of more than a year of work planning by a dedicated and talented group of landowners and staff of organizations and agencies in Minnesota and beyond.  If you have the time and the ability to get to Minnesota, it will be a great learning opportunity through immersion in stories about how broad partnerships are accomplishing great things for natural resources. Minnesota is the birthplace of several key voluntary conservation partnership focused programs such as the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service-Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program and USDA-NRCS Conservation Reserve Program. That leadership continues with landowners, sportsmen, conservation organizations, and agencies (local, state and federal) all collaborating and leading the way.  If you can make it to Minnesota there is still time to register here. Hope to see you there!
