Over the last 9 months, Partnerscapes, along with the National Wildlife Federation and Rural Coalition, convened 4 focus groups of landowners/agricultural producers, former NRCS staff, and a small subset of partners that work together with landowners and NRCS to get a feel for how things were going with CTA and NRCS.

In the first of its kind questionnaire and report, Western Landowners Alliance commissioned a survey conducted by Southwick Associates collecting responses from 649 landowners across Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.

During the last 3 years, the North American Wildlife and Natural Resources Conference, hosted by the Wildlife Management Institute (WMI) and its partners, has created a forum for discussion about creating a refined set of Foundational Elements of Fish and Wildlife Conservation that is current and forward-looking. A new online questionnaire seeks to gain insights from practitioners, landowners. policymakers, academics and others about what policy items each person believes important to include in a future list of Foundational Elements.

Partnerscapes continues to see the power of sharing stories of different perspectives coming together to address shared concerns and values.

Early last month, the 17th annual Private Lands Partners Day was convened in Williamsburg, Virginia. 

In late July 2025, Partnerscapes was honored to work with a broad range of partners to host a partnership forum in the Refugio-Goliad Prairie in the middle Texas Gulf Coast.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is providing annual payments to landowners who have Florida panther habitat of high conservation priority.
