Partnerscapes and staff from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service – Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program are planning an Eastern Partnership Forum for January 2024. This forum will be the second of a three-part series following the Western Partnership Forum held in January 2023 and preceding one in the Midwest in the second quarter of 2024. The audience for the forum will be landowners and conservation practitioners engaged with landowners from the East and Southeast.
The forum will connect peers and partners working in voluntary conservation in the East, including the Southeast, and allow an exchange of skills and lessons learned while developing relationships and partnerships, which form the foundation of voluntary conservation delivery. Input gathered during all of these forums will be used to strengthen voluntary, collaborative conservation delivery by addressing the specific needs, gaps, and opportunities to better equip practitioners and their landowner partners to implement partnership-based work on private lands.
