Partners for Conservation has assisted with the planning, is presenting or is otherwise involved with several voluntary conservation events focused on collaboration and partnerships scheduled for 2020. Coming up March 10-12 is the Western Collaborative Conservation Network launch event at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. This event will bring together all types of practitioners of collaborative conservation from across the West from private landowners to agency and organization staff to academics.

Later in March (24-25) in Kansas City, Missouri the Private and Working Lands Subcommittee of the North American Bird Conservation Initiative (NABCI) and The Missouri Department of Conservation along with partners are hosting a Private Lands Staff Forum designed for private lands conservation personnel that work directly with private landowners. This forum will provide a learning experience around shared challenges that staff who are focused on private lands face across the country. Although the initial forum will focus on attendees from the Midwest, it is hoped that it will be the first in a series of events around the country. Watch the PFC newsletter for more information about this session.
