Become a Partner

If you are a landowner with experience partnering on conservation efforts with your neighbors, public agencies and/or nonprofits and would like to share your story, Partnerscapes would very much like to hear from you.  We have discovered that landowners, sharing stories of  their work through conservation partnership, is one of the best ways to create an atmosphere where conservation-focused relationships between diverse perspectives can be initiated and grow.  Even stories that have a less than ideal beginning can be beneficial in the pursuit of developing and sharing those “best relationship practices” that can stand the test of time.  Transparent, open and respectful communication that leads to credibility and trust between perspectives is a common ingredient to all successful conservation partnerships.  Many of our friends and partners have emphasized the importance of sharing stories about public-private conservation partnerships from the landowner perspective.  Highlighting the work that landowners and their partners are doing together supports the effort to make public-private partnerships which are key to sustaining our national working landscapes.
