PFC attended a recent Working Lands Roundtable convened by the Western Governors’ Association (WGA) examining topics such as at-risk species conservation, broad-scale threats to western working landscapes, and cross-boundary coordination in resource management and planning. The session also included a workshop on collaborative conservation. The meeting also included an address from NRCS Chief Matt Lohr.

Partners for Conservation Executive Director Steve Jester participated in a panel on landowners and data collection around at-risk species. His presentation focused primarily on the role trust plays in working with private landowners regarding at-risk species data collection and sharing as well as in collaborative efforts in general.
